Nokia 6620 One Rugged Phone

I have to say I was a bit worried about the reliability and ruggedness of my Nokia 6620 smartphone when I first got it. The phone is basically a hand held computer, running it’s own operating system, high resolution display and more. Since I purchased it a couple of months ago, I have dropped the phone a few times (from at least 4 feet off of the ground) and most recently, the phone was subjected to a beer bath at a post-wedding party this weekend. To my surprise, the 6620 has made it through each one of these incidents without a hitch. The phone did not make a peep or need to be restarted. It just kept on cruising. The only problem that I am still encountering is an intermittent problem turning on/off the Bluetooth radio in the phone. Aside from that, I really like the 6620 and the big screen is really a great feature. It makes reading news stories on the phone easy to do as well as displaying pictures and videos, which I did not anticipate using as much as I do. All-in-all, the Nokia 6620 is a pretty good platform and Nokia did a pretty good job on executing this time.

haha man i always get out of vehicles with it on my lap and it smashes on the ground, like at least 3 times a week not to mention how many times ive droped it and given it beer baths like yourself, its been 3 years now and shes seen better days but damn still works fine, and still feels futuristic cause of all the new software that drops for it, iam planing on buying a new phone and it will eather be this same exact one or a newer model, i love the xp look for it, nokia is the most solid cell phone maker ive seen i love it, i will never go back to motorola and blackberrys suck phones, i could not live without my cell now that i have it, nokia keep pumping out the smartphones.
