Well, there are many reasons why I am a complete dork. One of them is that I get pleasure not only from eating food, but also from talking about food. Take my review of Nick’s Crispy Tacos as one example. How many people do you know that have actually spent the time to write up a review of a taco joint in their home town? I though so.

Jay- was with Scott this weekend and discussed sandwiches among many other things. I’ll be tightening up the focus of my noon time efforts, comb my old Peninsula joints to see if they still stack up to my grown tastebuds and share any good finds with you & Scott. Why don’t yo uhave a sandwich category on this blog thing?

Good question. I will add one right now. Peninsula huh? I like Jan’s in Menlo Park…right behind the train station. Fresh roasted turkey club is pretty money. It is no Freddy’s, but when in the Peninsula it is pretty much my sando of choice.
Of course, I don’t think Jan’s has anything on Nick’s Crispy Tacos. I threw down three Carnitas tacos Nick’s Way last week. They are so damn good.
