Windows Mobile or Not
I was playing around with an Audiovox SMT 5600 this weekend and while I think the exterior design was done by a 3 year old, it does have some pretty nice features packed into a relatively small, but useable chasis. So, the question is, should I pick one of these things up. I love the Nokia 6620, but I have to say that the buttons on the phone are pretty annoying and impossible to dial with. I am used to being able to dial the phone without looking at the buttons. The issue with the Nokia 6620 is that you have to use two hands, one to hold the phone and one to dial because the buttons are so low on the chasis and so small. I also feel like the Audiovox will do a better job with email and sync’ing with other MS applications and the software is just not there yet for the Series 60 Nokia. I have enough stuff on my plate right now and it would be nice to have an out of the box solution that works great. Here are the Audiovox SMT 5600 deals I have found so far.

Get it! (If you have not yet)
I got it at $100 with a 2 year contract with cingular. It’s the best investment I have made.
It sinks with outlook very nicely.
I installed a 1gig MiniSD card…
It plays MP3 very nicely!
Its great.
Anyway, I also have setup Pop3 with no problem.
