Sun Announces DRM Opera Open Source DRM Schema
I guess that I am not the only one realizing that DRM and digital delivery is the future. Sun Microsystems announced today DRM Opera, an open source DRM scheme that will hopefully make digital content delivery and rights management more feasible in the near future. The biggest hurdle to digital content delivery being accepted by the masses these days, is the DRM software and systems that the various digital content delivery schemes currently in use and the ones that may be in use in the future. In a nutshell, DRM (Digital Rights Management) software is supposed to prevent unauthorized use and distribution of copyrighted material such as music and movies. Unfortunately, software, as you may or may not know, doesn’t always work with each other. Ensuring that all DRM software will work with the most popular media applications like Windows Media Player, WinAmp and iTunes, is one thing, but there are hundreds of other media applications and DRM apps as well. It is virtually impossible to make sure all of these will work together. Hopefully, someone like Sun Microsystems will have the juice to make a DRM standard work…I am just glad to see that it is open source as well.

Hi Jason, I loved your three colum theme. I’m trying to transform the desert theme into a three colum one but it has been disastrous… And it’s for a client, he wants it THAT way. I renamed the sidebar to leftbar.php so I would have 2 sidebars, then I’d put diff content in the left one, but I just can’t put the left one. Can you enlighten me? Should I use margin etc etc etc px or div floats?
Thanks so much in advance.
