I am trying to find someone who can tell me about their EV-DO coverage experiences in San Francisco and more specifically in Pacific Heights. I am tired of waiting for Cingular Wireless to get off their asses and roll out some serious 3G technology here and I saw the soon-to-be-released Kyocera KR1 EV-DO Router today and figured what better way for a redundant home connection, than one that you can plug into your laptop and get broadband basically anywhere in the country…with no wires? So, if you have EV-DO in San Francisco I would love to hear about your experiences and coverage issues if any. Also, if you want to check out the signal on Pacific between Baker and Broderick that would be cool too.
