I have to say, I am glad I live in the United States. While crazy things happen here, crazier stuff seems to happen “overseas” on a regular basis. I just read that the Syrian Interior Minister committed suicide and it sounds like it may have been because he and his government are going to be linked to the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik al-Hariri. The soon-to-be-released UN special investigation into the assassination is likely to implicate Syria’s intelligence regime and its allies in Lebanon in the bombing.

Which brings me to my point, it is a crazy world in the middle east. Let’s get our boys the hell out of there as soon as we can.
