I was thinking that it would really be great to have an Amazon AWS plugin for WordPress, and as with many other great ideas I have, I found that someone else thought it was a great idea also. Rich Manalang has created a great Amazon AWS WordPress plugin that does 99% of what I was looking for. The only thing I would like to see the plugin do natively is use a jump script that can be blocked in robots.txt to prevent bots from crawling the links out to Amazon. But, that can be added very easily. The plugin is perfect for looking up and inserting a link or a link and an image to a specific product when creating a post in WordPress…which is exactly what I was looking to do. The plugin worked right “out of the box” and I was up and running in less than a minute. Thanks Rich.
