In case anyone was wondering, Soccer (aka Football everywhere but here in the US of A) is the sport of floppers. There are a number of reasons why nobody cares about this sport in this country, but I will give you my #1, because they are the biggest bunch of ninnies that I have ever seen. It is really against everything that most of the sports fans here want to see (at least the ones I know). Watching the masters of the flop like Vlade Divac has always been one of my favorite pastimes, but watching every player on the field stop, drop and roll when someone from the opposing team gets within 2 feet of them, is just plain annoying.

NOTE:

Brother Tito points out that Manu Ginobili would probably be a better “modern day” reference to the Euro flopper. He did make a great point when he said that Manu and Vlade probably just couldn’t get the flop out of their systems. I guess if you grow up with the flop, then that is what you do. It is still lame.
