Blue Angels Pilots are Nuts
It is a rainy day, for the second day in a row, here in San Francisco and Fleet Week is getting close. I don’t know because I have the date marked on my calendar, but because the Blue Angels are pratcicing above my head right now. The few times that I have lived in San Francisco and they have been in town, the weather has always been perfect. And, San Francisco could be the coolest place I have seen them perform. They fly right over the tops of buildings here and down Polk street so low that you can see the pilots’ faces. It is crazy.
If that is not crazy enough, today it is cloudy and rainy and the area over and around the Golden Gate bridge is socked in. I heard them flying around and figured they were above the cloud layer over head…I was wrong. I went outside earlier and I heard one of the FA-18s coming. I lookedup and saw one banking a few hundred feed over my head, followed by a second Hornet. I was pretty shocked. I am still trying to figure out how the hell those guys can fly that close to each other through the clouds and fog. They are seriously nuts.

not nuts. no. bright, oh yes very bright. got you to look up. amazing people in their amazing machines. kneel before the gods and give credit where credit is due. the sound of freedom vibrates the air around your head. cool spray and ray of hope. gaze into the eyes. gaze into the blue paint and you will see the faces of freedom under which you enjoy your freedoms. they pay the price. they stand the watch. they make sure no one gets to you while you sleep. they are on watch. give respect.
