Sometimes getting a used one on ebay is a risk since they can have incredibly high page counts, but I'd say in general, they are very good printers and didn't make my "top 10 worst laserjet problems" on my blog. The only issue I've found with those is that sometimes the tray rollers can cause some problems with paper pickup, but it's a quick fix.
