English Please….PLEASE
August 8th, 2007 - No Comments YetOk, I am sorry. I am getting pretty tired of the ridiculous people that companies choose to use to staff their sales and customer service facilities. We have all had the Indian guy on the phone, with the half second lag between talking and listening. Now it seems that Mexico is the next place companies, namely Vonage, are using to staff their call centers. I just tried to add a couple of Vonage lines via my existing Vonage account. When I got to the confirmation page, there were $50 in charges for the phone numbers. They want $30 to activate a line now….uh, no. So, I decided to just call up and see what I could do. Well, 45 minutes later, Maria had me all setup. But, let’s just say that it was less than a great experience. If I got disconnected I would have simply gone to another service to try it out. I ended up getting two lines activated for nothing but, it was almost not worth the nonsense I had to go through to do so. I guess that is their goal.
