So, my brother-in-law just forwarded this story to me about Rudy Giuliani’s son suing Duke University because he was “dismissed without cause” from their men’s golf team. Now if that is not a good example of being a “whiner” then I don’t know what is. Here is my feeling, suck it up kid. If you are that good, then prove it. If you are that good, there is clearly another top college or university that would love to have you play for them. If you are that good then you will have the last laugh. Playing sports, no matter what the level, is a privilege. Phil Gramm was right when he said, “We have sort of become a nation of whiners.”

I think a few public ass beatings would be a good thing for our country. You cut someone off and you give them the finger when they honk at you? It is “ok” for them to beat your ass. It was ok at some point to call someone a bad name or two when they took their ball and went home. Those days certainly appear to be gone…but, I hope not.
