Ok, this is something that has annoyed me for a while, but only now have I decided to rant about it. Probably because I blew myself up this past weekend thinking I was in college again…so, I might be a *little* crankier than my normal self. But, I am getting tired of receiving the “Deactivated […]

Ok, here is a cool site that Mr. Ferg just passed along to me…for other reasons than to see the stupid Adsense integration. First, go and read all of the comments for the mother of all cool t-shirts and then you can take a peek at the Adsense integration that you probably didn’t even notice. […]

Placing images over or to the sides of your Adsense ads is a great way to help CTR. Of course, you will have to mind the Adsense TOS, but I know that this is something Adsense account executives recommend (and even create) for their clients. So, here are the left boundary start points for a […]

I am sure you have noticed that many times your rectangle Adsense ads are displaying two (you will probably see this on the left side of this site), rather than four, text ads these days. These are called Expanded Text Ads by the Adsense people and are apparently run on a per-page basis if […]

Ok, I will admit that Google’s Adsense program has been the best thing since sliced bread for webmasters…there is no denying that. But, I am a little baffled by the pats on the back they have been posting to their blog in the […]

So, I was poking around today and came across someone else talking about the Ford Explorer Adsense Ads, this morning. So, I decided to pay a visit to the official Google Adsense blog to see if there was anything posted there about it. […]

I was pretty psyched yesterday when I saw that Google Adsense was running some of those big bolded text ads on my blog and then I noticed that they were also running on another one of my sites this morning…but, they are the same ad. What is that all about? Well, either Google Adsense […]

In case you didn’t notice, the Adsense team has reworked the Adsense tips page on their website. While much of it is the old stuff in new clothing, there is also a few new tid bits up there. I don’t think there is anything earth shattering, but if you are using Adsense and […]

The Google Adsense team has released some new FireFox referral buttons in some cool FF’esque colors. JenSense covers the story first, as usual. One thing I definitely agree with is the need for some Adsense referral buttons in some jazzed up color combos…other than the awesome white with black lettering. Hello? Herro?

I have been working on other things lately, but unless you live in a hole in the ground, you have heard about and seen Chitika ads all over the web. Chitika has been the hottest thing since sliced bread since their cool little ad units started popping up on blogs and websites a couple […]

Just saw Shoe-Dawg posting about the Firefox / Google “referral” program. It wasn’t something that I thought was going to be too exciting, but I know that some other people felt differently. But, what is interesting is some seriously high CPA action that Shoemoney reports from Azoogleads. $7.25 for Jamster, which seems like […]

It is Wed. night and I am posting to the site using the television web service here at the hotel. It is actually better than I imagined it would be. I just need to make sure that I have the keyboard pointed at the television.
First PubCon
This is my first time at the Webmaster World, […]

This one goes out to the Shoe. To the Money. What am I talking about? It really is not important. Shoemoney is what it is all about. And in less than a week, Vegas and the PubCon crew are going to find out what kind of havoc a few numbsculls from around the country can […]

Adsense junkies unite! Ok, well maybe not, but if you are tired or worried that you are logging into your Google Adsense account too often, then you might want to get this kick ass FireFox Adsense Extension that will allow you to build an “always on” Adsense report that is displayed in the […]

Looks like the peeps over at Technorati are having some trouble today. I just visited the Technorati Adsense tag page and it did not have any posts listed that were tagged with “Adsense.” Hrm, well I doubt that is the case…especially since I probably have 20 of my own that are tagged Adsense. […]

I was just poking around over at Technorati and noticed that if you search for “adsense” on the Blog Finder section, you will see that the official Adsense Blog is in 2nd place. I found that to be pretty funny. The interesting part is, there are some blogs out there that have way […]

I just added my new Adsense Ready three column theme for WordPress blogs to my catalog of WordPress themes. I was pretty surprised at the number of people that have found and use my original three column theme and it motivated me to release my recently finished Adsense Ready theme.
The Adsense Ready is a […]

So, I would like to hear some comments on the new layout. I “finished” it up last night and I have been debating between using the background image (the shadow and cream color) or just leaving it white. White is super clean and mean, but pretty boring…according to my personal advisor. This layout […]

I was just reading a friend’s blog and noticed his recent problems with Azoogle Ads. Apparently, Shoemoney has found that there have been a number of issues that have plagued his use of the Azoogle Ad network. One of which appears to be some kind of blocking or blacklisting of Azoogle by Speakeasy […]

I mentioned late last week that there was some talk about Smart Pricing, a technology Google Adsense uses to determine what sites/pages display what ads based on a number of different performance criteria. Fearing a backlash from publishers, the Google Adsense team has responded. Interesting thing is that I did not read anything […]
