Free Secure WiFi from Google

If you live in San Francisco, like I do, you can get secure (encrypted) WiFi intenet access from Google. If you are a dork like me, then you have certainly heard the rumors about Google starting up a free wifi network in the US. This is the first beta release of Google’s Secure Access wifi service. So, if you live in SF, you should download the client and see if you can pick up some signal where you are. Of course you will want to read the Google Privacy Policy to make sure you understand that you will be using Google’s VPN (virtual private network) to encrypt and decrypt the data you send and receive.
