Google has released Sitemap Generator v1.4 according to the Google Sitemaps blog. According to the anonymous poster, version 1.4 has the same features found in the previous version, but corrects a problem writing Gzipped sitemap files. So, if you have some Donkey Kong sized sites and the Google Sitemap script was crapping out on you, you might want to try this new version.
