[...] I have to say, Wordpress really does have one of the coolest communities behind it. The Wordpress cool factor prompted me to release a couple of themes that I developed last year. The first three-column theme I built is pretty lame, but it helped me to learn how Wordpress does things. Since then I have built many themes for WP and now I will be releasing the Bloggerpro theme you see on this site. I just have to package it up and make sure all of the plugins I reference in the theme are removed. But, the reason I started writing this was that I received an email from a guy who was using my Adsense Ready theme. He was trying to make some mods to it and I have probably spent an hour helping him today…but, I don’t mind. For some reason, I really like to help people get started with Wordpress and/or anything I have made for it. I guess I like to help people in general, but mostly people that are simply having trouble with something after they have tried a number of times to get it to do what they want. If you have not already, you should check out Wordpress. You can even get a free, hosted blog from them now at Wordpress.com. [...]
